Last Valley
Last Valley produce a range of hand made terrain for 20 and 25 mm war games tables. Due to the nature of the subjects being scratch built no two pieces are alike. This only enhances the product. Last Valley's range includes large and small deciduous trees, fences, walls, hedges and bocage. These elements are purchased alone or in combinations to produce larger scenery pieces. For instance a walled field filled with stand-alone trees becomes an orchard. This approach allows scenery features to be more versatile. Stonewalls are mixed with hedges or fences to make realistic features. This level of detail and realism enhances any war games table. The trees are made from rubberized horse hair which is flocked. The trunks are made from wire and paste and look very realistic. Wall sections are made from shingle and stuck together to make very realistic dry stonewalls. Fence sections are made from balsa and although some what delicate look fabulous. The bocage sections are modeled with and without trees and are truly stunning. Last valley will also take commissions for one off pieces of scenery. My own club has commissioned a set of bocage road tiles that are featured in several of the pictures. We have also commissioned a set of river tiles with a modular bridge that can be displayed intact or demolished. The willingness to produce these commissioned pieces makes Last Valley a great company and has helped to add some verity to war games tables.

SHQ Miniatures
The figures and models come in zip lock bags. Each figure is 20mm from floor to eye when standing upright; all the figures across the range are perfectly scaled. Figures look realistically scaled against the highly detailed model vehicles and guns. Unlike some ranges where the figures look bulky and cumbersome due to the detail. The quality and detail of these figures is unsurpassed, they come with little or no flashThe weapons and equipment are finely cast yet will stand a great deal of wargames punishment.

![]() The Foundry LTD, http://www.wargamesfoundry.com/ Huberts Lane, Off Doyle Rd, St Peter Port, Gurnsey, Channel Islands, Great Britain GY1 1RG To say Wargames Foundry had a large range of Figures across many periods would be a massive under statement. This should give you an idea how complete these ranges are. There are Darkest Africa(African explorers and natives), India (Indian Mutiny), China (1840's British in China), Early Imperial Romans, Cut throats (Pirates), Old West, Renaissance, American Civil War, Cossacks, Samurai & Napoleonic's. That is by no means the full list, as every month more and more figures are produced. Each figure is cast in lead in the 25mm scale. Figures cost approx £0.80p each and are bundled in packs, depending on the size of the figures a pack usually contain 8 figures. Each range has a number of packs, for example the Early Romans have 55 packs last time I counted. Most of the ranges have a similar large selection of figures. Wargames foundries have just started producing monthly limited edition figures. These are sent to you when you mail order figures. After one month no more of the figures will be cast. A nice idea but don't expect these figures to make you money any time soon. The company attends most of the UK's wargame conventions where special offers are generally available for bulk purchases. My only dislike is that in several of the ranges not only do you have to buy figure packs but then by generic shield and weapons packs. This makes the cost of the figures grow dramatically; I prefer a more honest and upfront pricing system with no hidden costs.
